IT HELPS US OUT A TON
Admittedly this was my third time seeing Zedd. I saw him at Red Rocks in 2017 with Anderson Paak (of all people) and another time in Calgary. I've always been impressed with his live sets but this time was different.
Tonight felt like a full-circle moment. I remember trying to secure a pass for the show back in 2017 and ended up getting screwed over by another artist's management. Fast forward to 2022, I was able to share the stage with the EDM legend getting to experience his POV first hand.
Being behind a DJ in front of 15,000 people is nuts - couple that with pyro and lasers shooting everywhere, it's hard to explain the feeling. Badlands was my first festival experience where I shared the festival stage with so many talented individuals. I've attended larger events in the past but never had this type of access.
Zedd never disappoints. I love seeing him live because the experience is always enjoyable. His hits are synonymous with crowds, and his audience always knows the lyrics to his songs. 'Beautiful Now' was such a great live track for me, and it made me emotional thinking I was making photos of artists of this calibre.
I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll see Zedd - but I know it will be the most memorable.
