I knew that Jeff Rosenstock was going to have a good opener for his tour, so I decided to show up right as the doors opened. Small Crush was first to take stage and it was such a refreshing indie pop experience and a stark contrast to Jeff’s headlining set.
The band cycled through a number of laid back indie pop bangers making for a chill back set. Morale of the band was great with the members having a smile on their faces stoked to take stage.
Even though the set was brief (30 mins) I definitely will be checking out Small Crush’s future releases.
