I mean, first and foremost, we got to talk about 'Da Biggest Bird,' that track is immaculate.

Talk to us about how the track came to be and how it blew up (3.5 Million Views on YouTube as of 05/11/2023).

Recorded it at my friend’s house, then Reno uploaded a snippet to TikTok after I had posted it on IG.

Just took off on TikTok after that.

Talk to us a bit about the visuals (music video) for the track 'Da Biggest Bird.'

Jmoney hit me to shoot it, so I went out there and we tapped JACE!(IAYZE) to be in it. Shot it in Dallas, Arlington, and FT. Worth Texas.

A lot of your music's subject matter talks about Jesus.

Do you consider yourself a Christian?

SAINT MERCATØR

Yes, my faith is central to my life.

Your music output has been unreal, given you've released hundreds of songs in the last couple of years.

How do you keep your output so high?

SAINT MERCATØR

When I record music, it’s usually 7-8 tracks per session, and I try to record every day when I can, but at least 50-60 songs per month. Though it has slowed down a little recently.

Your visual design for your mixtapes + singles is all over the place, from religious imagery, fantasy, assorted people, pop culture references and more.

What decision-making goes into these choices for visuals?

SAINT MERCATØR

Usually it depends on the context and vibe of the song.

Sometimes I just like a picture and will use that, but it usually relates either thematically or more literally.

Why do you incorporate emojis into your song titles?

SAINT MERCATØR

I never saw anyone else do it and thought it would be cool, and just stuck with it.

What advice would you give about making music?

SAINT MERCATØR

Do it for a reason more important than money or clout and be yourself. Also have fun and don’t be afraid to experiment.

What's next for SAINT MERCATØR?

SAINT MERCATØR

Album and several tapes in works rn, as well as a role I cannot expand upon rn, but something major.

Several non music projects too.
